Industry 5.0

Learning and Assessment Tool

The Industry 5.0 Learning and Assessment Tool was developed by members of the Industry 5.0 Community of Practice between November 2023 and May 2024 to support organisations in navigating the green and digital transition while addressing growing skill shortages. Inspired by the principles of Industry 5.0—human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience—the prototype tool helps companies reflect on how these values are embedded across their production processes.
Designed as both a learning and evaluation instrument, the tool combines a qualitative learning matrix with a visual "regenerative tree" assessment. Together, they enable organisations to explore their current practices, identify areas for improvement, and align their strategies with impact-driven and future-ready business models. The tool also supports education, training, and capacity-building initiatives for companies and regional innovation ecosystems.
